How to access and interpret Survey results based on your role

Once responses have been submitted to a Survey, results are available in real-time. What you can see and where you access it depends on your role.

Viewing Results by Role

Store-Level Users

After submitting a survey, you can view your team's response by clicking the survey link again and selecting View Response.

Field Leaders

  1. Open the message in your Messages inbox that contains the survey link

  2. A results section — visible only to Field Leaders and HQ — will appear below the message content

  3. Select View Report to see responses from all teams you oversee in real-time

For surveys with no deadline that allow multiple responses, select the Historical tab to see all past responses from your teams.

HQ / Publishers

  1. Navigate to the Surveys tab in Publisher View

  2. Select the survey title to open the results view

From here you can see all responses across all targeted teams, drill into individual questions, and download results.

Viewing Scored Results

If the survey has scoring enabled, HQ users and Field Leaders can see:

  • The total number of responses that passed or failed

  • The average score across all responses

These are displayed at the top of the results view.

Drilling Down to Individual Questions

From the Survey results page, you can view responses on a per-question basis without downloading a file:

  1. Select the survey title to open the results view

  2. Click View responses on any question to see each respondent's Team, Date, Answer, and Comments

  3. If images were submitted for that question, they display in their own column

  4. Click Download Responses to export all responses for that question as a spreadsheet

Viewing and Downloading Attachments

If a survey question allows or requires photo or file uploads, you can view or download submissions based on how you access results.

From Publisher View (HQ):

  1. Navigate to the Surveys tab and select the survey title

  2. Find the question with attachments

  3. Select View all attachments to view submissions inline, or Download Attachments to download a .zip file

From Field View (Field Leaders):

  1. Open the message in your Messages inbox where the survey was shared

  2. Select View Report next to the survey summary

  3. Under the relevant question, select View Attachments or Download Attachments

Downloaded attachments are packaged as a .zip file separated by each team or individual survey response — each folder corresponds to one targeted team.

Emailed Results

If a publisher configured the survey to email results, designated recipients receive an email notification each time a response is submitted. The email includes which team or individual submitted, with links to view the response in Zipline or download a PDF version.

The PDF includes:

  • Who filled out the survey

  • Which team the response was for

  • The date and time of submission

  • The full list of questions and answers

📝 Emailed results are configured by the survey publisher. If you believe you should be receiving results but aren't, contact your Account Manager or the Pink Bubble.
